NORTHWEST GAUL. Redones. Circa 60-50 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 6.59 g, 11 h), 'au profil imberbe' type. Celticized laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Devolved charioteer, driving cart drawn by a centaur to right, holding reins in his right hand and long branch ending in a vexillum-like banner in his left; below, wheel. DT 2313-4. LT 6774. Lightly toned and attractive. Minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
